• Optional Current Location Feature: You can choose to use your current location as a starting point for route generation. This is entirely optional and the app functions fully without location access.

Important:

• Location data is NEVER collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers
• Location data is NEVER shared with third parties (except Google Maps API as described below)
• Your location is only used locally on your device to populate the starting address field
• You can use the app completely without granting location permission

Data We DO NOT Collect

Route Share QR does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information
• Location history
• Search queries
• QR codes generated
• Routes created
• User accounts or profiles
• Device identifiers
• Analytics or usage data

Third-Party Services

Google Maps Platform

Route Share QR integrates with Google Maps Platform APIs to provide:

• Address autocomplete suggestions
• Route visualization
• Directions functionality

When you use these features:

• Address searches are sent to Google Places API
• Route requests are sent to Google Directions API
• Google Maps may collect data according to their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not receive or store any data from these API calls.

QR Code Generation

QR codes are generated locally on your device and contain only:

• Google Maps URL with the route you specified
• No personal information
• No tracking parameters

Data Storage

Route Share QR does not use:

• Cloud storage
• Remote databases
• User accounts
• Local persistent storage (beyond app cache)

All data processing happens locally on your device and is cleared when you close the app.

Children's Privacy

Route Share QR does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is designed to be safe for all ages.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no data to:

• Modify
• Delete
• Export
